Atypical lipomatous tumor

Rare lipomatous tumour occurring in the deep soft tissue which, from a dermatological point of view, only plays a role as subcutaneous tumour formation. Kuntane manifestations are not known.

The morphological progression form of the atypical lipomatous tumour is the metastatic "dedifferentiated liposarcoma" which also only appears as a tumour of the deep soft tissue.
