PTPN22 gene

The PTPN22 gene (PTPN22 stands for: Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Non-Receptor Type 22) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1p13.2. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described. An important paralog of this gene is PTPN12.
