Acrylate copolymer (inci)

Acrylate copolymer is a polymer of methacrylic acid, ethyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate.
Copolymers, also called heteropolymers, are polymers composed of 2 or more different monomer units. Acrylates copolymer is used as an additive in hair gel and other cosmetics.

Acrylates copolymer has a film-forming effect on skin, hair and nails and reduces static charges by neutralizing the electrical charge on the surface of the hair. The hair becomes better combable. Furthermore, it ensures the cohesion of cosmetic preparations containing powders and powders.
