Agropyron repens root extract (inci)

Agropyron repens root extract refers to the root extract of Agropyron repens of the creeping couch grass or also called common couch grass.

The almost worldwide spread couch grass (from queck, quick = "tough"), also called common or ordinary couch grass, is a plant species from the genus Quecken (Elymus) within the family of sweet grasses (Poaceae). Couch grass is a perennial herbaceous plant that reaches growth heights of 50 to 120 cm. It is a pioneer plant in almost all soils and is generally considered a weed. In some Eastern European countries couch grass is also used as a foodstuff.

Agropyron repens root extract has a skin-caring effect (keeps the skin in good condition) and masking effect (reduces or inhibits an unwanted inherent odour or taste of the product)
